A man with a vision to fullfill a mission

Many remote areas of Jagatsinghpur district are still deprived of medical facilities. There are many instances when people have lost their lives due to delay in medical assistance. To curb this setback, Mr. Bapi Sarkhel has introduced free ambulance service and medical aid in several gram panchayats. This step has paved roads for a healthier and disease free area. The population in rural areas is specifically vulnerable to diseases due to improper hygienic standards and thus require maximum medical attention. Despite the numerous efforts of the government, people are still deprived of medical facilities in remotely located villages. However, Mr. Bapi Sarkhel chose to break ground and has imparted medical aid in the following gram panchayats in Paradeep and Erasama constituency:
 Amberi.
 Jadatira.
Pandua.
Bodhei.
 Manijanga.
Talapada.
 Kathokota.
 Hansura.
Samantarapur.
Kolar.
  Sailo.
  Balarampur.
 Nuagaon.
 Erasama.
Mr. Bapi Sarkhel’s participation in the empowerment of women in the rural areas is also appreciable. The Paradeep Erasama Women’s Development Council is a brilliant initiative to uplift the status of rural women. This organization strives to educate them on crucial subjects such as HIV, AIDS and other severe afflictions. Such activities allow women to prevent and tackle these flaws on their own. One of the most common setbacks of the society is alcoholism and women in rural areas are more susceptible to consequences of this dreaded malice. Alcoholism among the male population also gives rise to domestic violence. The Paradeep Erasama Women’s Development Council founded by Mr. Bapi Sarkhel vies for women empowerment and a consistent struggle against alcoholism in the society. The strength of this organization i.e. 5000 active members reflects the viability of the same. Least of all, Mr. Bapi Sarkhel has promised the residents of Kathokota, Hansura and Badabalikani gram panchayats free ambulance service. All these activities of Mr. Bapi Sarkhel clearly depict him as a future leader in the making.
