A Pro Industrialist Of Odisha

Many of us must have come across an old proverb,” leaders are born, not made”. This applies favorably for Mr. Bapi Sarkhel, the 37 year young political revolutionary from Paradeep constituency of Odisha. As Rome was not built in 7 days, the path towards glory was not filled with roses for Mr. Bapi Sarkhel. He made a risky advent into the world of business in 1995 at an age of mere 20 years. His ambition pushed him forward to make an attempt to do business in the field of mechanized brick industry when youngsters of the same age tried their chances in other career paths. 2 years later in 1997, Mr. Bapi Sarkhel saw the glimpse of success in civil construction services at Paradeep and Balasore. This time nature played foul and the super cyclone of 1999 ravaged his business and left him on ground zero again. Even during these times of peril, he took up construction contracts for the oil refinery project at Paradeep in the year 2000.

The experience which he earned from these downfalls provided him an insight into the world of business and paved the road to entrepreneurial success. The advancements made by Mr. Bapi Sarkhel in the coming years established him as a pro-industrial activist. From 2002 to 2005, he invested in transport business for a fertilizer industry at Paradeep and then established his business in the districts of Angul, Jajpur and Dhenkanal. No individual would ever dream and achieve such laurels as Mr. Bapi Sarkhel has. During the period of his rise in the field of business, he noticed the superfluous mistrust developing among local residents against industrial establishments. He came to learn about innocent people being deviated from progress by certain deceitful people who have hidden profits. Mr. Bapi Sarkhel has come forward to make the indigenous population aware of the numerous nascent benefits from the upcoming industries.
